I'm afraid not. There is no migration of any kind from one box to another. A new Shield or a factory reset, for that matter means fresh installs of everything. Unfortunately not. Does it have a power button? Can I turn it on with the remote after it is turned off? That being said, the power button on the remote is actually only a sleep button. If you power off the Shield completely, it will NOT power it back up.
